We have signed up to Unicef- Rights Respecting School and we have achieved the Bronze award and we are working towards achieving silver.

The Convention on the rights of the child has 54 articles that cover all aspects of a child's life and set out the social, economic, political, civil and cultural rights that all children everywhere are entitled to. It also explains how adults and governments must work together to make sure all children can enjoy all their rights.
This link supports us to embed children’s human rights into our ethos and culture through putting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of our practice to improve well-being and outcomes for every child and to help all children realise their potential.
Through being a rights respecting school, our whole school community learns about rights and sees them as underpinning our values, vision and mission. Mutual respect for rights informs all practice and relationships in school.
