Request a Meeting with the Inclusion Team:
Our Inclusion Team is here to support pupils and families to ensure every child can thrive in school. If you would like to request a meeting, please read the following guidance before booking.
As part of the school’s Graduated Response, parents and carers must first discuss any concerns with their child’s class teacher. This allows the teacher to assess the situation and implement appropriate support strategies in the classroom.
Before requesting a meeting with the Inclusion Team, please ensure that:
-You have already shared your concerns with the class teacher.
-A minimum period of six weeks has passed to allow a full Assess – Plan – Do – Review cycle to take place.
-You provide a brief overview of the reason for the meeting request when completing the booking form so we can prepare appropriately (this will need to be in the notes box when an available time has been chosen) Please also include your child's name and class.
Once a request has been submitted, the Inclusion Team will review the information provided and determine which member of the team is best placed to attend the meeting, ensuring that the most appropriate support and advice can be offered.
Following this process helps ensure that the most effective support is in place for your child and allows the Inclusion Team to work collaboratively with teachers and families.
