Oracy and Progression

To support all pupils to access and make progress in each area of the curriculum, we believe it is essential to support the children to develop their oracy skills and vocabulary knowledge. We believe that the children need a precise understanding of key vocabulary in order to develop their conceptual understanding and they need to develop their oracy skills in order to apply their knowledge.
