What a exciting year we have ahead of us. It’s the start of new chapter of Key Stage 2 and whole new world of excitement, exploration and imagination. Welcome along on our journey!
As you child moves into Y3, it is vitally important they continue to learn their multiplication tables at home. next year your children will sit a Government Standardised Multiplication check, where they are required to achieve 25 out of 25 to pass. As a school we have invested in a brilliant interactive program for our pupils, to support them with learning their multiplication tables at home.
Reflex Maths
Your child has been issued a login for Reflex Maths at the beginning of Year 3. As a school, we ask that your child completes the activities on this program 3 times a week, for 15mins (until the little blue light in the right corner turns green). The data from this program will allow me to see areas I need to focus on in class to ensure that your child receives the personalised learning that they need.
Please continue to encourage your child to complete their Reflex Maths times tables check at home. Once your child has achieved 100% on their Reflex Maths, they can continue to use TT Rockstars (below).
