Flanderwell Primary School

REMOTE LEARNING – update for parents and carers.

Dear parents and carers,

I do hope you’re all well.
You will no doubt have heard in the news this week that the government anticipate that schools will re-open to pupils other than key worker and other defined groups, on 8th March.
Once we receive further information and guidance, I will update you with next steps for our school.
In the meantime, school will continue to…
*Deliver daily, live lessons for all pupils via Zoom and provide feedback on work posted on portfolios.
*Respond to parent questions and comments.
*Provide school places for critical worker/other assigned groups.
*Provide access to help and support, including mental health support, for families in need, via telephone, email and/or videoconferencing.
*Provide printed copies of key resources and deliver these to families who are unable to collect.
*Supply paper, pencils, pens and other required resources.
*Offer book exchanges.
*Provide technical support/devices where needed.

Remember – we are here to help 🙂

Just a reminder that Friday 12th Feb is an INSET day so school willbe closed to all pupils.

Have a lovely weekend.

Thank you for your continued support.

Mrs Armitage
