Creating positive well-being

During these uncertain times, we understand that children are going through many changes including not attending school for unspecified amount of time, not seeing their friends or family members as often as they would usually or their parents not attending work. Parents, family members, school staff, and other trusted adults can play an important role in helping children make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest, accurate, and minimizes anxiety or fear.

We are dedicated to ensuring we promote positive well- being among all children especially during a time that can feel quite scary and unknown to them.

Below I have outlined a list of different ideas that could keep children entertained and keep a feeling of well-being. I will try and add new ones each week. 

Remember take time for you , take some deep breaths and spend some quiet time doing something you love 🙂
