I hope you’ve had a lovely week and that you are all in good health.
Jus a few updates…
Our teachers will continue to post work on the website and communicate with your through their ClassDojo pages from tomorrow. As our teachers begin to return to school to teach groups of children, they will be unavailable for contact during the mornings. If you need a quick answer to a general query, please contact school at the usual number. Teachers and teaching assistants will comment upon the work you post later in the day or even the next day.
If you have previously requested printed copies of the website work, these will be created upon request from teachers and will be a available to collect from Tuesday morning this week.
Paper/exercise books will still be made available.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR COLLECTING PACKS WEEK BEGINNING 1ST JUNE:
Tuesday 11.00a.m – 11.45a.m.
Wednesday 9.30a.m. – 10.45a.m.
Thursday 9.30 – 10.30a.m.
Friday 9.30 – 11.00a.m.
When collecting packs from school, please press the intercom button for access. Packs will be located under the shelter outside the main reception area. Only one person will be permitted in the area at a time. Please allow for social distancing outside the school gates.
All contact with school must continue to be made via telephone or email. Staff, including reception staff, will be unavailable in person for general enquiries.
Just a reminder that we will be continuing to admit children of critical workers into school from tomorrow. If your child hasn’t attended this provision before and will be doing so tomorrow or very soon, please read the guidance we have emailed to you, outlining the procedures for returning to school. Parents should have received an email on Friday, if they have enrolled for this provision.
Information regarding school openings and letters to parents will be posted on this page of the website, under the relevant date. Please check this regularly.
A text will be sent when each letter/communication has been added. It is important that we have the correct telephone and email addresses for you – please update us by contacting the school office with any new details.

We hope you are all well.
In the midst of media frenzy about school closures, we want toreassure you that, come September when weanticipate allchildren will return, our superb staff will make sure that yourchildren get back on track. That’s ourskill. We are already workingbehind the scenes to plan ways of doing that, calculating whatlearning will havebeen lost and how we will adjust planning nextyear to catch it up. Planning how we will help them feelreassuredwhen they return and are feeling out of routine. Your children arein safe hands – trust us! Fornow…stay safe, keep them happy,healthy and loved, keep engaging with the online learning andtrust us.We’ve got this.

As yet, schools haven’t been issued with any additionalinformation, other than what has been shared duringthe publicbroadcast – staff are still absorbing the information and will not bein a position to answer questionsrelating to this, as yet.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS – PROVISION AND FUNDING DURING ENFORCED SCHOOL CLOSURE
2ND APRIL Good morning,
As you may be aware, the Government are providing additional funding for all pupils who receive BENEFIT-RELATED FREE SCHOOL MEALS (not currently universal infant free school meals) whilst schools remain closed.
Our staff are in the process of sending out E-vouchers to all families who qualify. You can find out further information and how this will take place. School will email the vouchers directly to parent email addresses.
If you think that your child would qualify for BENEFIT-RELATED FREE SCHOOL MEALS but you haven’t yet applied, you can make an application through the RMBC site. You can still apply for this, if you are eligible, and if your child receives infant free school meals.
