Hello and welcome to Foundation Stage,
In Foundation, we want all children to succeed and be happy and safe both inside and outside of the classroom. Learning starts as soon as children walk through the door. We open up at 8.45am and parents and carers drop off their children on the school yard. The children are then taken to their classroom and take part in a short morning task, including name writing, letter formation, reading, number challenges and craft activities.
Just before 9.00a.m, children are called to the carpet for the register and exciting activities begin!
Autumn 1 -‘All about Ourselves, Houses and Homes, Scarecrows and Traditional tales and Stories with Familiar Settings.’
Autumn 2 – Do cows drink milk?- Autumn walks, Farms and Farm Animals, Celebrations and Festivals, Hanukkah, Christmas
