EXCELLENT WORK EVERYONE!
Mrs Cooper, Mrs Cartledge, Mrs Shepherd and Mrs Catto will be posting photographs of the event shortly. Watch this space!
Several of our Y5 pupils took part in a SPEEDWATCH session on Wednesday afternoon, along with Councillors Reed, Ellis and Hoddinott, PCSOs and members of the Neighbourhood focus group.Pupils monitored the speed of approaching traffic along Markfield Drive and Fleming Way, using hi-tec equipment.
Thanks to … Madison, Megan, Owen, Amelia, Uzair and Maisie. You did an amazing job!
After a site inspection, we will be opening school at the normal time of 8.45a.m. Children should arrive at school and access classrooms from the usual doors. If you are making the journey from further afield, please stay safe. We understand that pupils may be late arriving this morning.
Our Upper Key Stage 2 pupils would like to invite you to a celebration of their term’s work on Wednesday 27th November.

We are inviting all pupils in Foundation Stage 2 and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) to support our ‘Wear it Wild’ day by coming to school dressed as a wild animal, on Friday November 8th – change of date from original dates list. The day has been set up as a fundraising event to support the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). The WWF supports vulnerable animals, including endangered species. More information can be found at
A donation of 50p in support of the charity is requested from those dressing up. Prizes will be awarded for the most creatively dressed. Please do not go to great expense by ordering special costumes. Recycling unwanted items in the home is a more creative and exciting project.
We are so pleased to share some of our fantastic work in Y5C. The children have worked very hard on their newspaper reports on the first moon landing. Please come on in and have a browse.
Today both year 4 classes travelled to The Deep as part of our Under the Sea topic.
It was a fantastic day where we were able to learn lots of new facts that we can take back into school and use in our work.
Below are just a few photos from our day… 😀🦀🐠🐙🦈🔬🚎
